We build digital environments where clarity meets intention.
A studio rooted in Medellín, Colombia. We are a small team of specialists crafting websites as if they were architecture—structure, flow, and deliberate detail. Our process is collaborative, our pace is sustainable, and our craft is focused on the spaces between your message and your audience.
Our Core Principles
These are the lenses through which every decision is filtered. They are non-negotiable, and they are what make a nodexo project stable, scalable, and clear.
Clarity Before Aesthetics
We remove elements until the core message is unambiguous. If a component doesn't serve the user's goal, it doesn't stay.
Systems Over One-Offs
Every design decision is documented and scalable. We build component libraries, not just pages, for long-term efficiency.
Client as Co-Author
We use collaborative tools (Figma, Notion) in real-time. Your insight is part of the design file, not just a review comment.
Ethical Metrics
Success is defined by user behavior and business goals, not visual trends. We define KPIs before writing a line of code.
Sustainable Pace
We reject burnout culture. Project timelines are built on realistic capacity, with internal R&D time protected.
Local First, Global Mind
Our Colombian context informs our work, but our technical and accessibility standards are globally relevant.
How We Evaluate Robustness
Before launch, every project undergoes a pre-flight audit. We don't guess at stability; we test against constraints. This includes cross-browser performance (not just major browsers), load testing on constrained networks (3G simulation), and accessibility audits using both automated tools and manual keyboard/screen-reader navigation.
The Limit: No project is "100% perfect." We aim for "resilient within agreed scope." If a client needs enterprise-grade security auditing, we recommend a third-party specialist. Our role is to build the clean, maintainable foundation they audit.
The Speed vs. Depth Trade-off
Mitigation: Clear analytics post-launch to guide v2.
Mitigation: Higher long-term ROI & scalability.
The Medellín Studio, Built on Intention
Our studio is a converted textile warehouse in El Poblado, Medellín. The morning light hits exposed brick walls and spills onto a large communal table where projects begin as sketches. We are intentionally small—six core members—to keep the chain of communication short and accountability high. There is no room for ambiguity in our workflow.
The space is designed for specific modes of work. A dedicated 'quiet room' allows for deep, uninterrupted focus, while the communal kitchen is where the day's work is discussed over shared meals. We don't believe in "creative brainstorming" as a separate activity; it's integrated into the rhythm of the studio.
Our most valuable asset is a physical wall of swatches—paper, fabric, metal finishes—that serves as our tactile reference library for digital projects. We study light, texture, and weight before translating them to pixels. This grounding in the physical is what prevents our digital work from feeling sterile or generic.
We operate on a 4-day client project cycle. Tuesday through Friday are dedicated to client work. Monday is reserved for internal R&D, skill-sharing workshops, and refining our own internal tools. This non-negotiable R&D time is how we stay ahead of technical trends without chasing them.
Our workspace in El Poblado, Medellín. Founded 2018.
Specialists, Not Generalists
We are a curated collective of experts. Each role is deep, and the collaboration between them is where the work gains its depth and resilience.
Jorge
Founder & Creative Director
The connective tissue. Ensures every project aligns with the studio's core principles and maintains the cohesive narrative.
María
Lead Strategist
Former brand consultant. Her 'Why' framework is the first, non-negotiable step in every project, clarifying goals before any design begins.
Carlos
UX Director
Master's in Human-Computer Interaction. Specializes in complex SaaS dashboards and accessibility audits. His goal is to make powerful tools feel intuitive.
Sofia
Visual Designer
Typography expert. Architect of the 'nodexo type system,' ensuring every character is purposeful and legible across all devices.
Luis
Front-End Developer
Focuses on performance and clean code. Maintains our internal component library and design system, ensuring consistency and speed.
Ana
Project Manager
The client whisperer. Translates creative vision into actionable, milestone-driven plans. Keeps everyone aligned and on schedule.
The nodexo Lexicon
Terms we use daily. They shape how we think and build.
Digital Architecture
The mental model we apply. We think in sites, flows, and components, not just pages and screens. A user's journey is a walk through a constructed environment.
Intentional Whitespace
Not 'empty' space. It's an active component that guides the eye, creates rhythm, and signals importance. We measure it as carefully as we measure pixel values.
Node
A point of connection or decision in the user's journey. Our goal is to make every node clear, intuitive, and valuable. No dead ends.
Dex
Skill, proficiency. It's not about flashy effects; it's about the precise, confident execution of a well-defined craft, like a calligrapher's stroke.
Co-Authoring
The rejection of the 'vendor-client' dichotomy. You are in the file, shaping the work with us. Your domain knowledge is a design tool, not feedback for review.
In essence: nodexo is a focused studio that treats websites as living environments. We build with intention, collaborate deeply, and measure success by your long-term growth—not just a launch date. Our size is our strength; our craft is our differentiator.
The nodexo Ethos
We build digital architecture.
We see websites as structures where people move. Navigation, hierarchy, and flow are the foundation. A beautiful facade on a confusing floor plan is a failure of craft.
We reject trend-chasing.
Our solutions are built on timeless principles of hierarchy and clarity. If a trend doesn't serve the user's goal, we ignore it. Our work is meant to last.
We believe in slow design for fast products.
Thoughtful iteration beats rushed deployment. We invest time in understanding, defining, and building systems. The result is a product that performs reliably and adapts smoothly.
Your Next Step
If you're looking for a partner to build something intentional—rooted in strategy and crafted with care—we should talk. We start with a conversation about your goals, not a sales pitch.
